2025 Bronco (11U-12U) Travel Overview

Commitment & Expectations

-Player and parent commitment required to make the season successful

-Player attendance and positive attitude are critical

-Focus on other players and make sure a team can be fielded for all games

-Players to always help teammates with positive encouragement

-Playing time may be limited in the event of absences or behavioral issues

-Parent volunteers needed:

-Team parent to collect regular feedback on team dynamics and report back real time to WBA in a constructive manner

-Help organize the Cooperstown trips and coordinate travel season logistics

-Coach spring house league teams

-Always stay positive in front of the players – channel feedback through team parent to WBA board (real time). Stay out of the dugout, and do not criticize coaches or umpires.

-WBA is a non-profit and its board is 100% volunteer based – we may call you as needed to help out

 

What's Included & Costs

-Top quality year-round travel program

-Winter workouts run by senior IBA coaches

-Sunday travel practices in April & May run by senior IBA coaches

-Weekday summer camp the weeks of June 12 and 19 run by senior IBA coaches

-LSFBL regular season & playoffs

-Two local travel tournaments, plus Cooperstown tournaments

-Uniforms & team gear

-Coaches – two full time, plus one intern (if available), per team

-Additional fees for Cooperstown trips include: tournament fees, player lodging, player meals,
coaches, umpires, trading pins, personalized pin towels, team banners, and uniforms (except pants)

Payments for 2025 Travel Season

Season $2,150 due on 11/1/24 for both 11U and 12U

$2,220 additional amount due on 11/1/24 for 12U Cooperstown trip (Cooperstown Dr


Other

Bronco Spring House League is required – separate registration and fees

Fall Skills clinics are optional – separate registration and fees

Dates:

Winter Workouts

  The Yard (Northbrook) – First day - Saturday, January 4; Last day - Thursday, March 20

▪ 11 Green – Sundays 2-3pm (Turf), Saturdays 1-2pm (Cages)

▪ 11 Blue – Tuesdays 5-6pm (Turf), Saturdays 3-4pm (Cages)

▪ 11 Gray - Tuesdays 6-7pm (Turf), Saturdays 2-3pm (Cages)

▪ 12 Green – Wednesdays 7-8pm (Turf), Sundays 3-4pm (Cages)

▪ 12 Blue – Tuesdays 6-7pm (Turf), and Sundays 2-3pm (Cages)

▪ 12 Gray – Saturdays 9-10am (Turf), and Sundays 4-5pm (Cages)

If the schedule above does not work for your player on certain weeks, they are welcome to join a workout at one of the other time slots (a couple players per time slot max – email Trey at IBA to confirm change, trey@illinoisbaseballacademy.com

▪ 12 Blue – Pony Field - 3:00pm to 5:00pm

▪ 12 Gray – Pomona Field – 2:30pm to 4:30pm

 

 -Summer Travel Camp – first two weeks after school is out

  Every weekday the weeks of June 9th and 16th

▪ 12 Green – Roemer from 9-11am

▪ 12 Blue – Roemer from 11am-1pm

▪ 12 Gray – Roemer from 1-3pm

▪ 11 Green – Elam from 9-11am

▪ 11 Blue - Elam from 11am-1pm

▪ 11 Gray - Elam from 1pm-3pm

 

-Summer Travel Season – June and July (LSFBL playoffs end July 21th unless rain out date needed)

-Cooperstown - 12U - Green/Blue/Gray DreamsPark
